Tel: 6348 6110

Mount Pleasant Vet Centre (East) was established in 2000 and has since grown to a 4-vet practice with a strong team of support staff. We provide quality vet care to people living in the east and are dedicated to care for your animal friends as our own.

Our vets have special interests and advanced training in dermatology, ultrasonography, Traditional Chinese Medicine, veterinary acupuncture and exotic pets such as hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and chinchillas.

At MPVG, we aim to provide progressive and comprehensive veterinary care through the practice of evidence-based medicine with the most advanced veterinary technology.

We believe that excellence in patient care can be achieved by investing in continuing education for our team, and offering valuable client education and support.

As a Group, we help the people who are protecting our community animals by giving back through charity programmes and partnerships.

Visit Us

We encourage you to make an appointment to reduce your waiting time which can vary during peak hours. Priority is given to emergencies and clients with appointments. For consultations with a senior veterinarian, please book your appointment at least 2 weeks in advance. You will receive an SMS confirmation or telephone call 1 day prior to your appointment. Kindly inform us if you decide to cancel your appointment.

Towels, mats, food and water bowls are available for our patients. We do not encourage leaving your pet’s belongings in the clinic as items may be misplaced.

We kindly request all clients to adhere to our visiting hours for hospitalised pets. We may limit the number of visitors and duration of visits to ensure that our patients receive sufficient rest and timely treatment.

10.00am - 12.00pm
2.00pm - 4.00pm
6.30pm - 8.00pm

10.00am - 12.00pm
2.00pm - 4.00pm

We see communication as one of the most important aspects in client care. Please discuss your pet’s condition and treatment plan with your vet-in-charge during visiting hours or via phone calls. Kindly nominate someone to be the primary person with whom our vet discusses the case.

Our vets are required to consult at our outpatient clinic, perform surgeries and attend to emergencies. We seek your understanding and patience if they are unable to answer your enquiries immediately. General updates on your pet’s status may be obtained from our vet technicians who are caring for our patients.

A deposit is collected at the time of admission to cover part of the estimated bill. The amount will vary with each patient, depending on the expected procedures and level of care. While we endeavour to provide an accurate estimate, a top-up of the deposit may be required if your pet requires an extended stay or when the cost exceeds the initial quotation.

Veterinary treatment can be expensive especially when the illness is serious. We strongly advise you to keep track of your pet’s medical bill by enquiring at the reception regularly. Please discuss any cost concerns with our vet during consultation so that we can better manage your pet's treatment plan together.

We accept the following modes of payment:
1) Credit Card
2) PayNow
3) Bank Transfer
4) Cash

Payment of the bill must be made in full at the time of discharge. For outpatient consultation, payment of the bill is required at the end of consultation.
